This project was a personal project of mine without any external project owners.

The project is based on a house that was for sale in a Dutch village, which I chose because of its unique shape and unique room lay-out.

The interior of this house is in the Classic BOHO style, as this style focuses a lot on natural light and materials.

Because of the floorplan being very open I wanted to incorporate more light and space in the interior to make full use of this.

The main inspiration for this project was to create spaces within the home that allow for entertaining while also preserving a homely environment. To achieve this I incorporated bi-folding glazed doors into the main living area. This allows the areas to be opened up, allowing for entertainment while still maintaining separation between these areas.

The light wood allows for rich accent colours while maintaining the light and airy interior.

I wanted to create a space that allows for creative freedom, and that is also suitable for a family and entertainment. To do this, I opted for creating separate rooms to give freedom and privacy needed for a family, while at the same time allowing for the dining, living and dinner room to be connected and opened up to create a large communal area where it is easy to entertain people.
