FEATURED PROJECTS

The renewed prominence of the Black Lives Matter movement around the world following events in America in 2020 has surfaced the ongoing
inequalities experienced around the world that are rooted in discrimination and suppression of
indigenous people at the hands of Eurocentric colonialism. This design
proposes a public display that shares information and related objects in an ethical way to effectively present the narrative of indigenous experiences.

The inspiration for the secret gardens cafe and restaurant is to create an environment that is remenicant of the rise in popularity of green house architecture during the late 19th century. The medicinal value of green house and spas in Victorian Britain inspired the use of several different plants that are attributed to better air quality, a factor that remain important due to the recent corona virus pandemic. breconshire was a popular destination for wealthy victorians and continues to be a popluar holiday destination. The use of trelis systems to create partions between tables gives quests a feeling of privacy and the restaurant features outside garden seeting areas and a food pick up area that can be used to serve customers during covid- 19.

During the final year of my graphic communications course in sitxth-form I undertook the challenge of designing a museum to educate the local area on the holocaust. This project was inspired by a trip I took earlier that year with the holocaust education trust to Auschwitz and the trip I took a couple of years before that to Berlin.
The main inspiration of this museum was to teach people more about the events that ocurred during
the holocaust . The main focus here was to teach people about the lesser known subjects and the
lesser known events that happened.

The focus for this apartment was to create an art deco inspired interior, this is both elegant and accessible for elderly and retired people.

The brass accents, statement floors and deep, rich colour pallet are typical for a 1920’s interior, the interior also features statement elements such as an original 1930s fireplace and wall panelling in the living room as well as a mirrored wall in the bedroom and statement lighting.
